Map Kibera workshop by Dr Mark Skipper @ nailab

9th to 11th was a buzz at the nailab with folks from map kibera. It was a train the trainer workshop titled “Inquiry led learning for map kibera trainers”.

The workshop is aimed at enabling Map Kibera participants become more effective learners and problem solvers, develop their collaborative skills and impart their knowledge to their peers.

It was an invitation only event. that attracted about 30 participants who actively participated in very interactive learning sessions. There were many games, lots of laughter, the occasional screaming, the blowing of an acme whistle  http://www.wwbw.com/Acme-Whistles-TH147NP-Siren-Whistle-441819-i1136148.wwbw by Mark , the goofy and sometimes serious facilitator. A lot of sharing and learning through question & answer sessions, peer learning and get this, they even learned to tie knots!! The group was always energized and the good catering kept them going

All in all, a good deal of work, fun and learning was achieved. @ map kibera crew, it was a pleasure to host you and we hope to see you again in another workshop.
